Homely

Find your home, on homely

Homely is one of the leading real estate sites in Australia. Their mission is to make the process of buying a house joyful and easy. They asked Unfold to help them in creating a brand that reflects this mission.

Mark construction

The mark is built using the golden ratio design system by applying a 42º slant. All corners and curves are rounded using the same radius.

The smile is constructed based on a circle with the same amount of width as the house.

Exploration

During the logo exploration process, the team built a lot of concepts.

We ran these concepts by Homely, and with their valuable feedback, we started refining one of the logo concepts. Finally, after a few iterations of the logo mark, we arrived at the completed product.

Mark strategy

We combined the familiar shape of a home with a warm smile. This mark serves to remind users that when you search with Homely, you aren’t looking for a house – you’re finding a home.

Website concept

The website concept was built with a basic component style guide of buttons, typography, colors, and layout. We did our best to stay true to Homely’s desire for simplicity.

Marketing

Not only did we develop the branding for Homely, but we also built marketing material for print and online use.

Mono color logo

It’s important that a logo looks good using only one color. Unfold made several variations showing how the logo can be presented using a monotone color.

Branding broadcasted on TV

The marketing and branding work our team created here at Unfold was featured on TV.

“Creative, talented AND professional is a rare combination – Eddie and the Unfold team have it all. Their work speaks for itself as you can tell with all their projects, and we couldn’t be happier with their branding work for Homely!”
